#MusicMonday: Judah and the Lion, “Suit and Jacket”

At the age of 31, I can’t help but think that I should feel more “grown up” than I do. But here I am, after more than three decades, still trying to make sense of where I’m at in life. And (if I can be honest) still not wanting to go without a fight into the world of full-blown adulthood. There’s something about the unbridled zeal of youthfulness that I’m reluctant to leave behind.

So when a song begins with a defiant line like, “I ain’t trading my youth for no suit and jacket,” you can consider my attention grabbed. And when said song packs all the folksy-fun grooves of Judah and the Lion’s signature sound, well that’s a recipe for a perfect #MusicMonday feature.
